Designed in the style of the French Provincial Jewelry Chest - an antique Chinese jade nephrite set brass bound jewelry chest box, attributed to French Sector Shanghai. Brown stained wood (appears to be teakwood) , jade and brass original. Pierced hand carved carved inlaid jade panel on chest lid. Pink and silver silk interior. This style chest is similar to those made in the French Sector Shanghai. Beautiful well made chest.
