    Chinese Porcelain Lacquer Pillow-like Shard Box (Winterthur Museum Collection Shard Box)  _ Rare find!
    The shard box is
    Winterthur Museum's collection, with it's original
    explanatory memorandum sheet.
    This Chinese lacquer box has a figural antique blue & white porcelain lid, with large traditional style blue and white sweet pea underglaze decoration chinoiserie (export Qing red lacquered enameled), bringing timeless aesthetic, form and balance to any arrangement with this rare find.
    The box size is 5 2/8" Length, 3 7/8" Hight, and various
    width for two sides: one is
    4 3/8" & one is 4 1/8".
    It is in very good to perfect pre owed antique condition, free of chips, cracks or crazing,
    only with a few signs of ware.
