Anvil Miniature Early Jewelry Makers Blacksmith Silversmith Gunsmith Steel

This is a little beauty, very nice miniature (Aprox 1 3/4" tall x 3 1/2" long x 3/4" wide) Anvil for Jewelry Makers, Silversmith, Blacksmith or Gunsmith fine work.  It's preowned with some age on it and has been used some so it is not perfect.  The corners and edges have some wear, one side of the horn is not quite as slick and smooth as the other, has scratches and a few pinholes that occurred during the making of the anvil. This can be mounted on a table or vice and I believe it was designed to fit in the mouse hole of a larger anvil as well but I am not sure about that.  Please take a good look at the photos for the condition and you will see that this is a fine piece of early craftsmen/tradesmen history.
