    Chinese Red Leather And Wood Pillow Shaped Jewelry Box 12.25 X 4.75 X 5 In.
    Appears to show Warrior atop a horse with a maiden at his side.
    On top of a wood base there is a leather surface layer on the exterior of the box. Red lacquer was applied on the leather surface along with gold/silver decoration. A final layer of clear lacquer was applied for the protection of the gold/silver decoration. Paper with Chinese characters is applied to the interior.
    Lid stays open. Latch works.
    Very good condition although lacquer has a few blemishes from normal wear and usage.
