Deep red mahogany color & lacquered effect, featuring a traditional scene with a dragon & a mythical phoenix bird chasing through the skies for the pearl of wisdom.
Ornate brass handles & clasp with the mirror stored under the top of the box-can be tilted up for use.
The inside is lined with sepia vintage newspaper like lining with Chinese characters
Excellent unused condition-light surface wear. Some paint chips on box top along mirror hinge.
