    Description

    VINTAGE 6 1/2 INCH ROUND LACQUERED BOX & LID
    WITH ABSTRACT ASIAN MOTIF
    & MOTHER OF PEARL INLAY
    Lovely box is about 2 1/2 inches tall at the top of the handle.  It is a soft reddish brown outside with a black interior.  It is unmarked, so I know nothing about where it is from or when it was made.
    Condition:  In good, gently used condition.  The edges of the lid, the bottom rim and the rim of the bowl are chipped in several places.  The black lacquer on the inside has a crack line in it that doesn't not show on the outside, so I believe it to be in the finish and not in the bowl.
