  • Condition: Excellent condition, original finish. Flawless projecting mounts, only one chip on a tenor top (pictured). Outstanding tone. Sound files available, see description. Blowpipe stock has a hairline crack that is sealed, stable AND DOES NOT LEAK (pictured). Replacement blowpipe is an excellent match with premium imitation 1vory mount turned to match the others. All sterling silver caps and ferules present hallmarked 1969 & 1970 (U & V). Three stock ferules not hallmarked but are sterling and match the rest of the set. Hemp stops are made from deer antler.

    Description

    Reluctantly selling my sterling silver and natural mounted Hardie pipes from their golden era, 1970.  What you see in the photos is what you get; sticks and stocks as they say.  You would want to add your own chanter anyway, as well as your preferred set up, cover and cords.  The blowpipe is a new replacement made of poly, but has a large bore which is what you would want.  Pictures of it are attached.  This is a really good and very stable pipe.  Sound files are available.  I tried to include them here, but eBay kills the link to youtube.  If you want to hear them, contact me thru eBay and I'll send the links or tell you where to get them.  You can also look on BagpipeCentral where they are also listed for sale.  The links are functional in that ad.  Because of natural mounts, this item can ONLY BE SHIPPED TO A USA ADDRESS.
