    Description

    This pretty box looks brown! it looks maroon. i always put the lights on to photograph my stuff, and this has always been brown. then lights and presto chango, it's red. it measures 5" by 4" by 3" and is somewhat thick and heavy. the brass is lovely and carefully put in place. the lid fits nicely. there is some Cloisonne or Chinese Enamel on the top. A proud maker's mark added to the back "Shanghai China." red enamel. there were some beads and pendant bit inside. (like the man on the street handing out fliers, "here, you throw this away") maybe. enjoy.
