    Description

    Japanese Red Hibiscus Black Lacquer Powder Box
    This Japanese lacquer box has a raised red hibiscus flower with green leaves.
    I can't tell if it was carved or applied to the black lacquer (see photos #3 & #4).
    Measures: 4-3/4" in diameter by Approx. 1-1/4" high.
    Marked: Okinawa, Shikki Co.
    Very good condition with a slight indentation in the black lacquer
    but too hard to photograph and only seen at a particular angle.
    Please disregard reflections.
