  • Condition: The wood has some normal wear. Possibly missing tray for rings and trinkets. The bottom right hand side of the box is cracked. The yellow lining inside the box is dirty in spots and is slightly detached. The nails on one of the hinges are coming undone.

    Description

    This listing is for a Beautiful Lacquered Solid Wood Chinese Jewelry Box
    All the brass accents are etched and beautifully detailed.  The top of the box has a Chinese symbol.
    This is a lovely box and it's in good condition.  Its medium size allows you to store different types of items.
    It does have some minor flaws that I have listed below, but this box is sturdy and is a great piece to own.
    The wood has a slightly weathered look to it but it is lacquered and still has its smooth finish.
    On the bottom right hand side the wood is cracked.
    The symbol looks like it may have some hardened glue or substance on it.
    The small nails that hold the hinges is coming undone on one of them in the back of the box.
    I believe the inside is missing a tray that should hold rings and trinkets.
    The lining is dirty in spots and appears to be slightly detached.
    Measurements are:  9" x 6-1/2" x 4-1/2"
