The platter spins but does not calibrate the control disc and yield music. The reason turntable mode isnt working is because it needs a new photo interrupter to control the music while platter is spinning. The CD player functions perfectly fine. If you have a unit that has a good photo interrupter but other bad components this may help you. The top LCD dosent work simply because of a damaged ribbon cable, if you can splice one of these and re-seat it it will work.
