    Description

    A pair of exquisite enameled, lacquered Chinese Red makeup, jewellery or trinket boxes. They appear to be of vintage, pre 1940's era.  These would be ideal on your vanity table or serve as decorative items in any other part of the home.  The dimensions are 6.5"x5"x3".
    The upper section has a mirror compartment in each box while the bottom has a deep drawer.  Lovely Chinese calligraphy and figures line both upper and lower compartments.  The boxes have enameled pictures and brass/metal details.  Very clean interiors.  No mold, stains, or signs of significant use or repair have been noted.  A whimsical find for that nostalgic feel of a bygone era.
