Up for your perusal is this fabulous find. This is a vintage Chinese lacquer duck box. I believe this is a decorator piece. Makes a fantastic decor item. Classic Chinese duck form Exact age is unknown, but my estimate is this has some age. Probably 1970s. The previous owner purchased this box in the early 1990s. It was purchased in Hawaii from the famous interior designer shop and local collector Phyllis Spalding. Exterior is a rich blackish crimson red and interior is a more a China red color.

This lacquer box is about 9.5" across the front x 8.5" tall and x 3" depth (side).
A nice addition to your vintage Chinese lacquer lacquerware or vintage Chinese box collection.
Condition:
Gorgeous. No major issues. Light wear from age and use.
