Up for your perusal is this fabulous find. This is a vintage Chinese porcelain inset box. I believe this is a decorator piece. Makes a fantastic decor item. Classic hand painted floral porcleain tile inset. Interior is black lacquer. Exterior is a China red lacquer with hand painted gold and multi-colored Chinoserie motif. Porcelain is Chinese but done in a colorful motif. Exact age is unknown, but my estimate is this has some age. The previous owner purchased this box in the early 1980s.

Size:
This box is about 4.75" across the front x 2.5" tall and x 4" depth (side).
A nice addition to your vintage Chinese porcelain or vintage Chinese box collection.
Condition:
Gorgeous. No major issues. Light wear from age and use. Small hairline to porcelain tile towards top. A few light edge nicks to lacquer.
