Vintage Chinese Octagon Jewelry Treasure Safe Box Working Fish Lock Wood Brass

This Vintage Chinese Octagon Jewelry/Treasure Safe Box  I believe is a beautiful reproduction that appears to be made in the 50's of an antique.  It is solid wood and detailed with brass.  It does have a Working Fish Lock and the original tassels are included.  In order to keep the key safe it has an additional tie feature that can easily be removed if desired.  The inside is lined with Calligraphy paper and has Chinese writing on it.
The original would have been owned by Chinese businessmen who would secure their valuables in them on a trip.
This box is 5 1/2 inches tall and is in excellent condition with the exception of a couple of spots where the wood has started to crack.  Please look at the pictures and judge for yourself.  If you need additional photos or have any questions please message.
