Vintage Chinese Pewter Double Gourd Shape Box with Auspicious Images.
Well made box on double gourd shape is made of pewter/brass , not sure what is the content of the material. It has not been polished or cleaned. Both of the inscriptions carry the meaning of may everything go as you wish.
Dimensions:7 inches from top to bottom, 3.5 inches diameter for the bottom piece, 1.5 inches high
Dating: first half 20 century
Condition: good cover fits well. There is a darker spot on the side near the top.
