Vintage Chinese SILK Covered OCTAGON BOX with Hand Crafted 8 IMMORTALS

Description

Octagon-shaped, cardboard box covered with yellow silk, made in Hong Kong.
On each side is a hand-crafted Immortal. Please, be sure to look at the
fantastic
detail
in their hand-painted faces.
Their clothing is actual fabric -  a lot of it silk.
The beards are made of individual strands!
There is a black, gold, and cream colored boarder-trim that is repeated on the top and bottom of the box.
It's decorated with stylized, floating Lotus flowers enhanced with gold thread.
It measures (approx) 6 inches in diameter and stands 6 inches tall.
The original bottom (cardboard) piece was broken/bent when I acquired it, so I cut a piece of foam-core board to replace it, but left the original bottom. It's non-functioning, and simply there for integrity. It is stamped, "No. 442   Size 6"   Made in Hong Kong".
The top boarder trim-piece is a little short, and there is a small gap that was filled with (what appears to be) glue. It's not really noticeable, but you need to know its there. Also, I'm not sure, but it looks like some some of the Immortals might have had a foot or hand fall off somewhere along the way (Hate it when that happens). But, in all honesty, it doesn't seem to compromise the images.
