Vintage Chinese Rosewood Jewelry Box with Beautifully Engraved Brass Hardward and a Hand Carved Jade Medallion on top of the box. The front clasp could hold a lock if you have one. The inner silk brocade lining is bright red, with gold embroidery. and it covers: the underside of the lid where you can place pins, and the bottom compartment which can hold your rings on the left side, and larger jewelry items on the right side compartment. The rosewood box is fitted together on the front and back sides.
Measurements: 3"h x 5.25"w x 4"d
Good vintage condition. As expected, there are normal areas of age wear, including a dent on one piece of the back hardware, variations in color from handling, and dust in the carved out jade medallion. There is also a small ding in the front upper right front corner of the box.
