Vintage Wood Inlaid Chinese Zodiac Symbols Round Wood Box Lunar New Year

Description

Measures approximately 3 1/4 inches tall including lid and 3 3/8 inches wide.
Beautiful Asian wood lidded container is decorated with a scene of two men fishing on the lid and accented with the various animals from the Chinese zodiac around the body of the piece.
Inlaid pieces are designed to look like engraved bone, but we are not certain what they are made from.
An inlaid Buddhist Yin and Yang symbol is present on its underside.
No makers marks are noted.
Light surface wear.
