    Description

    A Chinese vintage two-tier Octogon bamboo, reed(?) lunch basket from the mid-20th century, with handle, locking lid. Born in China during the midcentury period, this lunch basket features two foil lined individual compartments topped lid. Surrounded by a bamboo handle when pressed down, locks the lid so food can't fall out.  The lid has 2 carved Koi Fish and painted design.  Stamped on the bottom, Made in China in English and Chinese. This vintage Chinese bamboo lunch basket will also be a great decorative object, placed in a kitchen, bedroom or dressing room.
