Vtg George Zee & Co Jewelry Box Rosewood Brass Silk Lined 3 Drawer Hong Kong MCM

This is a George Zee & Co Jewelry box. He made these from the 1960s to around 1990. It is made out of rosewood and brass. All the ones I have been able to find have a different Chinese character on the top. The sticker is no longer on the box, based on the pictures of other jewelry boxes, the silk is identical, the base is identical, the cherry blossoms on the brass are identical and the layout of the brass is identical to George Zee jewelry boxes. The pulls on the side also have the cherry blossoms which is rare.
Taking pictures of this box is hard because it shows differently in different lighting and there are also reflections. There are color variations in the wood. It is beautiful.
This box does have some stains on the silk and the top of the box. I will let the buyer fix those if they choose to.
The top of the box has Chinese a symbol that means: blessing, good fortune, bliss
12 inches length, 8 inches wide, 8 1/2 inches tall and prepackaged weight is 9.4 lbs. There is a fedex home delivery and a priority mail option. Your shipping may be less using Fedex which is the second option.

For me to file the insurance claim I will need to have a picture of the box showing the shipping label, a picture of packing material, and the damaged item.
